The acronym of our name is the essence of our design process.

We are a research and design strategy firm that is passionate about understanding your organization, your customers and your goals.

Before designing strategies, we work to gain a deep understanding of the challenges, realities, constraints and opportunities of an environment. This understanding allows us to create a management and design tool to determine and guide an organization’s priorities. We clarify the essence of what customers and stakeholders need and want in their experience within an organization, a facility and the corresponding services. Then we design.

We are strategists and designers using a powerful approach to designing the right thing.

Business strategy, experience design, graphic and industrial design are employed to explore human nature, design brand communication, and help understand and navigate complex facilities.

Mostly, we want to help businesses become better. ex;it clarifies goals, priorities and messages to create better environments, better customer journeys and better experiences.

ex;it's sister studio, J2 Design Partnership, is a Brand Strategy
and Visual Communications agency. Their work is focused in brand strategy for non-profit, education and cultural organizations. Most recently, J2 was responsible for the art direction of the Philadelphia magazine "Two One Five" and TATTED, a book and exhibition. In addition, the studio executed the identity strategy and branding
for Harlem Academy and the University of Pennsyvlania School of Social Policy.

ex;it Foundation
ex;it Foundation explores opportunities to help people improve their lives within communities experiencing hardship through conditions such as poverty, violence or discrimination. The foundation seeks to understand the realities of the conditions through personal engagement and relationship building activities such as art, design, writing and play. Together, ex;it Foundation and the members of the community work to identify, design and implement solutions to create sustainable and balanced opportunities for personal growth.
